This lambskin rug, sewn together from 6 pelts, is perfect for the living room or bedroom, allowing you to have a silky-soft feeling under your feet in the morning.
Except for the white version, the fur should not be placed in direct sunlight, as it may become discolored over time.
These long-haired New Zealand lambskin rugs bring the feel and look of natural lambskin into your home with their stylish simplicity. We exclusively carry lambskins of the highest quality, carefully selected based on criteria such as density and natural luster. That is why we can guarantee that a lambskin rug like this will bring style, texture, and color of the very highest quality into your home.
The rug measures approx. 180x160 cm and not only makes a great decorative element for your living room, bedroom, or any other room, but also provides warmth and comfort - a pleasant feeling.

Quality
With our 6-pelt lambskin rug, you are choosing an exclusive product from which you can rightly expect high quality and long durability. It is important to us that you can feel the quality of your lambskin rug yourself. That is why we explain what quality means to us and how we can assure you of it.
Two features play an important role for us when we add new pelts to our premium assortment. Premium pelts have an incomparable appearance and offer outstanding comfort. For this reason, we pay attention both to the luster of the fur and to the density, which must be above-average and uniform. You can expect and verify both when you receive your lambskin rug at home.
We achieve this high quality through careful selection at the end of the production chain, but also by keeping a watchful eye on all stages of the journey a lambskin takes from the pasture to our warehouse. This is reflected in the NATURES Collection guarantee, which certifies the best conditions in all aspects of production for you. Read more about the guarantee here.
Care
Your premium lambskin rug requires very little care to retain its original quality for a long time. To keep the fur airy and loose, you should brush it thoroughly about once a week with a fur brush. If possible, it also helps to shake and beat out the fur rug. Given the size of this rug, we would recommend doing this with at least two people. You can also gently vacuum the fur rug, but you should set the vacuum cleaner to the lowest level.
Regarding any stains on the fur, you should always first dab fresh stains with a damp cloth. Ensure that the leather side remains dry. Dried-on stains can in some cases be combed out with the fur brush. If you are unsure about a stain or cannot get it out, please feel free to contact us and we will share our recommendation for your fur with you.
With a dyed fur rug, it should also be noted that it should not lie in the sun, as the color will otherwise change. All rugs should be rotated every now and then so that the rug is evenly stressed and does not develop noticeable pressure marks that make it look worn.
Origin
Your fur rug made from premium lambskins comes from far-off New Zealand. Imagine a background with deep gray mountains and a bright blue sky. A herd of sheep grazes calmly on a green expanse with gently rolling hills. When a rain shower comes, the thick coat keeps the sheep warm and dry, and when the sun shines again shortly after, the moisture evaporates in steaming little clouds. It is truly an incomparable natural product that you are holding in your hands.
At Sheepskinhouse.ch, we attach the greatest importance to only selling pelts that are a by-product of meat production. Therefore, you can be sure that none of the animals from whose skin your rug was sewn were killed solely for the sake of their fur. The pelts are produced anyway, and to honor the animal, we use as much of it as possible. In this way, we contribute to ensuring that nothing is thrown away during the processing of animals.

Sustainability
The production of pelts can be environmentally harmful if not carried out carefully. That is why gentle production methods are important in this industry, as a general green rethink can prevent much damage, catch up on what has been neglected, and improve the carbon footprint.
NATURES Collection is committed to sustainability in all dimensions possible for us as a player in society and the economy. This means, for example, that we choose transport routes with lower CO2 emissions. But we are also aware in production of not working with pollutants but with natural agents and resource conservation. We start with the type of animal husbandry and also attach importance to ensuring that both the people who work with the sheep and the pelts have good working conditions. We demand full transparency from our partners in the tanneries and sheep farms, and we are happy to pay the corresponding price for it. In this way, we make sustainable business possible all over the world.
There is no reason to have a bad conscience when purchasing a lambskin, because these are not unethical per se. If you inform yourself conscientiously and completely about the origin and production, and also ensure careful handling of the product so that it lasts a long time, lambskins are absolutely harmless products. They even contribute to waste prevention, since the pelts are produced during meat production anyway, and furthermore, natural products are to be preferred over a plastic rug not only because of the quality but also in terms of sustainability.

Gestaltet in Dänemark
