That's why all our products come with the NATURES Collection guarantee. This guarantee assures you that you will only receive high-quality, sustainable, clean, animal-friendly, and, above all, safe products.
The NATURES Collection guarantee consists of 5 aspects, all of which are particularly important for the best product. The 5 aspects are: Quality, Sustainability, Environmental Protection, People, and Animal Welfare. Quality
NATURES Collection guarantees something other brands cannot: furs and fur products of the world's best quality.
This quality is linked to many aspects, such as animal and environmental protection, fair pay for every employee in the supply chain (meaning not only colleagues in the office but also tanners, sewers, and all other people who come into contact with the product), and the selection of exclusively premium furs.
Since every hide is a natural byproduct of meat production, not much attention is paid to the quality of the hide, as the farmer and the slaughterhouse profit from the meat. Therefore, good hides are unfortunately often cut or otherwise damaged. Already at this stage, intact and damaged hides are sorted.
However, among the intact hides, not every one has the premium quality that NATURES Collection offers. To find this, each hide must be individually examined for defects, small holes, and minor imperfections. After that, only about 20% of the hides remain, which are of premium quality.
However, this sorting is not carried out at the source, but only when NATURES Collection receives the hides. The same applies to every supplier. Since NATURES Collection has the opportunity to sell lower-quality hides through a large network of partners, ensuring no waste, the premium quality we offer can be 100% guaranteed.
Every hide purchased by NATURES Collection must be processed through high-quality and careful processes and work. Here, the other four aspects come into play, as they ensure high quality and transform a great material into a premium fur.
Sustainability
Every hide is a byproduct of local meat production. Whether you choose a lambskin, sheepskin, goatskin, cowhide, or reindeer hide, each of these products has been meaningfully reused instead of being thrown away. This aspect makes every fur product sustainable, as no resources were expended for the fur, because the meat was the primary focus.
A second important aspect of a hide is that it is biodegradable. This clearly distinguishes it from a faux fur, which is made of plastic and has a very large ecological footprint. A hide that breaks or is no longer desired, on the other hand, can even be composted.
But to protect the sustainability of each hide, NATURES Collection has various initiatives that make furs particularly green. No toxic chemicals are used in processing, and water and energy are saved.
It is also important that since the founding of NATURES Collection, not a single intact product has been thrown away there. Unlike what is unfortunately often seen in the furnishing and fashion industry, where old collections are burned or thrown away, sustainability is prioritized for every single product here. Environmental Protection
NATURES Collection's environmental protection activities go far beyond the typical product advantages that furs bring. A particularly strong focus is always on the optimal use of all resources. This is shown, for example, on the back of our seat cushions, which are sewn together from perfectly fitted smaller pieces to utilize them optimally.
Environmental protection is also a priority in the production and processing of every product. For example, water is reused or recycled by 70%. 100% of the used water is cleaned, so only clean water is released into the environment. Water consumption has also been reduced by 30% in recent years through optimized processes.
Instead of using aggressive chemicals, environmentally friendly products are used. For example, furs are stored in salts and also tanned with salts. Through technological advances and the great experience of all partners, the amount of detergent used has also been reduced by 30%.
The transport of products is also a point that must not be neglected in environmental protection. Therefore, all furs that come from further away are transported by ship and not by plane. Air freight always means a large CO2 emission - this is extremely reduced by transport by ship.

We all know that only a happy animal has a beautiful coat, which is why quality assurance does not begin with the processing of the furs, but already before with the selection. Since only the best furs are selected, whose origin is secured, the protection of each animal can also be guaranteed.
Every hide comes from animals that roam freely through the landscape and are cared for by experienced farmers. Therefore, the hides also have special characteristics specific to the region. Icelandic hides are slightly rough, Tibetan hides have fine curls, and English hides are particularly soft due to the mild weather.
