About the sheepskin type
Long-wool sheepskin from New Zealand has a wool length of 5–8 cm, making it a particularly dense and full sheepskin. The wool is straight and has a natural sheen. This makes it an excellent choice for rugs, as it feels wonderful to walk on with bare feet.
Your sheepskin rug is made from perfectly matched pieces that are carefully sewn together. This gives you a rug that looks as if it were made from a single piece of sheepskin.
The rug is given a fabric backing so that you can lay it anywhere without any trouble.

Short-wool sheepskin from New Zealand

About the sheepskin type
Short-wool sheepskin from New Zealand starts out as a regular New Zealand sheepskin that has been shorn short. Its wool measures 2–3 cm and has small curls. This makes the sheepskin a little easier to care for, yet it still feels pleasantly soft when you walk on it.
Your sheepskin rug is made from perfectly matched pieces that are carefully sewn together. This gives you a rug that looks as if it were made from a single piece of sheepskin.
The rug is given a fabric backing so that you can lay it anywhere without any trouble.

Lambskin from Tibet is known for its fine corkscrew curls. The skin is fairly light, yet thanks to the fine curls it still looks full. That makes it perfect for our designer rugs – it has just the right combination of lightness and volume. It catches the eye straight away without being overpowering. As soon as you've ordered your custom piece, the order is passed on to the NC Design Studio, where your product is made individually. For sheepskin rugs, this process usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
We'll keep you updated on the progress of your order by email.

Once we've received your order, the delivery time is usually 2 to 4 weeks. Please note that this may be slightly longer in the autumn and winter months.
For furniture and custom orders:
Once you've contacted us about your individual wishes, we'll give you an estimated production and delivery time.

Your custom piece is made at the Natures Collection NC Design Studio in Denmark.
NC Design Studio
NATURES Collection has its own NC Design Studio, comprising a joinery, a sewing workshop and an upholstery workshop. This is where sheepskin cushions, sheepskin rugs and custom pieces are made to bring your individual wishes to life. The unique upholstered furniture is made here too, creating a perfect and coherent whole.
Joinery
In the joinery, the wood is carefully worked by NATURES Collection's own joiners. One of them is a fourth-generation joiner, which you can see straight away in his creations. Here every piece of furniture is carefully shaped and cut, and finally polished and lacquered to perfection. Through this careful treatment, the raw surface is transformed into a fine, smooth finish whose seamless elegance suits any interior.
Sewing & upholstery workshop
The sewing and upholstery workshop allows Natures Collection to make its own products. It also takes special orders for rugs, cushions and much more. If you have a special request for a product, we'll gladly pass it on for you.
A key part of the work in the sewing and upholstery workshop is creating sustainable processes, in both production and design. Among other things, this means using as much of each skin as possible. For this reason, smaller offcuts are used for key rings, cushion fillings and other purposes, out of respect for both nature and the animal.
