Care

Your premium lambskin rug requires very little care to retain its original quality for a long time. To keep the fur airy and loose, you should brush it thoroughly about once a week with a fur brush. If possible, it also helps to shake and beat out the fur rug. Given the size of this rug, we would recommend doing this with at least two people. You can also gently vacuum the fur rug, but you should set the vacuum cleaner to the lowest level.

Regarding any stains on the fur, you should always first dab fresh stains with a damp cloth. Ensure that the leather side remains dry. Dried-on stains can in some cases be combed out with the fur brush. If you are unsure about a stain or cannot get it out, please feel free to contact us and we will share our recommendation for your fur with you.

With a dyed fur rug, it should also be noted that it should not lie in the sun, as the color will otherwise change. All rugs should be rotated every now and then so that the rug is evenly stressed and does not develop noticeable pressure marks that make it look worn.
