How do I care for my cowhide?

A real cowhide requires very little care, and if you want to maintain its original condition most effectively, you should simply follow these three instructions.

1. Shake out regularly: Remove dust and loose dirt by shaking out the cowhide regularly (preferably with two people, due to the size).
2. Remove stubborn dirt: Vacuum on the lowest setting or dab with a damp cloth. Be careful to keep the leather underside dry.
3. Change position: Be sure to rotate the hide regularly or move furniture slightly to avoid pressure marks.
