English Sheepskin
English sheepskins are characterized by their particularly soft and dense wool, which results from closely packed, fine hairs. This density protects the sheep from rain and wind and at the same time gives the fleece an incomparable softness, making it perfect for wooden furniture or a dog bed. This characteristic English fleece not only offers aesthetic elegance with its subtle color nuances but also high seating comfort and warmth, making it the perfect snuggle fur.
Like the fleeces from Iceland and Austria, our English sheepskins are natural, and therefore the images shown are for orientation only. Our English sheepskins come in two overarching color tones: light fleeces with a gentle beige-yellow hue and dark fleeces with warm brown tones. Both color variations can be excellently combined with other colors and are ideal for Swiss living spaces where emphasis is placed on natural materials and elegant color accents.
Organic Sheepskin from England
Organic sheepskins from England are not only decorative elements but also offer exceptional comfort. They are ideal for relaxing after a long day, reading a book, or watching a series, and thanks to their naturalness, they can also be used outdoors when you long for soft comfort. The dense and soft structure provides pleasant warmth and a cozy feeling that you simply have to love.
Although the hairs of an English sheepskin are finer than those of a New Zealand fleece, the density per square centimeter is very high, so the fleece still feels particularly soft and voluminous. The result is a luxurious, soft natural product that is visually and tactilely appealing.
How do I care for an English sheepskin?
The hairs of English sheepskins are 5 to 8 cm long and very easy to care for. Regular shaking is sufficient to remove dust and light dirt. Optionally, the fleece can be carefully vacuumed on a low setting. With a lambskin brush, you can then fluff up the wool fibers again, so the fleece retains its natural fluffiness.
