Description
Description
Icelandic sheepskins are versatile and unique. They fit on most chairs, but also look fantastic on the sofa and on the floor as a rug.
Since the fur is natural, it can be used both indoors and outdoors. Every sheepskin from Iceland is unique in its coloring, which is why these skins can be wonderfully combined with one another.

Icelandic long-haired sheepskin 120x60 cm
Since Icelandic sheep are born in the wild and roam freely through the wilderness for their entire lives, their wool is something very special. Through centuries of adaptation to the harsh local climate, the sheep have developed a short undercoat and a longer outer coat. The undercoat keeps them warm, and the outer coat, which is between 15 and 25 cm long, protects against rain and snow. In addition, the wool is slightly coarse, which gives it a beautiful appearance.
These sheepskins measure 120x60 cm and are available in many natural colors, such as gray, brown, and black. Due to this lovely selection and the beautiful texture of the skins, they can be used on chairs, sofas, or on the floor. You can even use these skins outdoors under a roof, as they are 100% natural and therefore do not fade in sunlight.
Because Icelandic sheepskins are 100% natural products, they may vary slightly in color and shape. Therefore, the pictures serve only as examples. Specifically, naturally spotted skins vary a great deal, as these can have black or brown spots. There are also naturally spotted skins that are mainly black and have white spots.
Icelandic sheepskins, like other sheepskins, are easy to care for and remain clean thanks to the natural lanolin. If you are looking for more detailed instructions on how to care for Icelandic sheepskins, you can find them here.
